FKM stands for Fluoroelastomer, which is a class of man-made rubber of great density but soft in touch. Our DAI-EL FKM rubber bands and many accompany accessory are specifically made by Daikin.

Able to offer exceptional resistance to wide range of industrial chemicals. Such as acids, oils, and fuels. With their strong carbon-fluorine bonds and low gas permeability, these materials are able to withstand harsh environments and maintain their integrity in low to high temperature conditions. Range from -45 °C to +204 °C.

Most importantly, resistance to oil and sweat in consumer grade product such as this. Soft, flexible, non-reactive materials which will not degrade in long term usage.

The outer diameter of this modding kit for different series is practically the same, except for the bezel.

Since Series 7 has a bigger screen, the bezel for it has to be slimmer (5.5mm), with only 4 decorative rivets.

Where as Series 1/2/3 and Series 4/5/6/SE has wider bezel (6.8 and 7.4mm) for their smaller screen, with 6 decorative rivets.

Although modding kits for said models have similar dimensions, the internal structures are entirely different.
